Are you refering to news or forums or pics? If it's news, myself, JOrdan, Karl and Radek all police that area. We tend to leave everything until off topics start or comments like rad or sucks appear as they don't contribute. Since I have no idea what your comment was I can't say who or why it was nuked.

Is your rear shock the two bolts into a threaded pin style? Tight is usually good on most bike parts, just don't force things is my rule of thumb.

szfetbb wrote

regarding buying the stuff abroad parts are pretty cheap in Poland. Polish Santa Cruz dealer can get you a brand new Heckler with float rp23 shock as a frameset for 1200$. However Im not sure if I will ever buy a new frame again Wink

szfetbb wrote

Heckler will limit me a bit on donwhills in a way that I will have to work more with hands and legs and smoe of my focus will go to avoid obstacles. But there's nothing wrong with working more and improving technique. People usualy think that top WC racers are so experienced that they just go through the rough stuff with cosmic speeds and the bike does all the job for them. Nothing more wrong, they go trough the rockgardens like a lightnig as they are masters of damping and using rough obstacles to their advantage. Heckler is more multifunctional as it is way lighter and its geometry si bit better for the "pain reklaed" riding.

szfetbb wrote

and UR slayer seems to be a nice bike, looks way lighter than my Nomad both in weight and in feel.

szfetbb wrote

My cousin owns a Heckler and I really liked the bike, fast, manouverable, simple and reliable. It is also more than 100 pounds cheaper than Blur LT. For the price I will sell Nomad I will problably get the New Heckler. I also stopped believing in multi-pivot bikes whether it is VPP, FSR DW Link or whatever. It is the head and the muscles that make the difference Smile thats why I want to go simple. I love the Nomad but i ride less and less technical stuff and proper downhill perhaps twice in a year. I start to want a bike that can give me more from 1 hour of riding without lift assistance. And this 1 hour twice a week starts to be the only time I have Smile

Im into mountain biking as a whole, so nothing really specific. Only thing I dont like is Street riding, as I tried it for some time and I have an absolute anti-talent for it. I just like to ride in the mountains, in the woods on whatever I ride. I dont like extremes nor XC racing bikes nor DH bikes for I see no point in resigning from open options in the name of some specific activity, while not beeing a devoted racer. Racing XC bikes take so much fun of downhill, and DH bikes limit the range of where U can go, pushing the bike is way more tiring from than riding uphill. Im more into downhill riding but I like to get there to the top by pedaling, thats why I own Nomad. Slowly i realize that Nomad is too big for me and I can do all the things I do on Nomad on a smaller bike so in coming years I might change to SC Heckler Smile

I'd love to pass it, as I have no paper confirming my english skills. It's always good to have one in a CV. My biggest improvement in english came when I took the "Academic writing" PhD course on university in Sweden. That was really good. Then I read some Tolkien's books and I learned how differently can one change the order in the sentence. All I was always tought was like: I live in Goteborg in Sweden, and I like it there - while sometimes after a tone of sentences with that order it comes handy to say> The city i live in is called Goteborg and it lies in the west of Sweden. Calm it is to live there indeed Big Grin

Finally, someone that constructively debated a subject properly on pinkbike (two sides, opinions properly stated without animosity/ arrogance present, and a governing body of other users to correct communication/ opinions). I give you props on your argument, I read it right after you posted it, and figured you had misunderstood something or didn't get the flow from mind to keyboard. I just wanted to say that, because I always get some cocky misinformed answer when trying to help someone out on this site. Thank you, Your the man!
